1. Who We Are
GoTasty (Android package com.gogogollc.gotasty) is developed and published by GOGOGO LLC, a Delaware limited liability company. GOGOGO LLC is the controller (or “business”, under US state privacy laws) responsible for the information described in this policy. You can reach us at any time at info@gogogollc.com.
This policy applies only to the GoTasty game. It does not cover third-party websites or services that you may reach through ads shown in the game.
2. What We Do Not Collect
- There is no account, login, or sign-up. We do not ask for or collect your name, username, email address, phone number, or contacts. (The game signs in to our backend automatically with a random, anonymous ID; see Section 3.)
- We do not collect payment information. There are no in-app purchases at launch. If we add purchases later, they will be processed by Google Play, and we will update this policy first.
- We do not access your photos, files, microphone, camera, or precise (GPS) location.
Your game progress is saved locally on your device. It is not uploaded to our servers. Uninstalling the game or clearing its app data deletes that save. The only game data we store on a server is the invite information described in Section 3.
3. Information Collected Through the Game
When you play, the third-party services listed in Section 5 may automatically collect the following information from your device:
- Device identifiers: the Android advertising ID (GAID) and the app set ID.
- Network information: your IP address, and an approximate (country or city level) location derived from it.
- Device information: device model, operating system and version, language, and screen size.
- App information: the version of the game you are running.
- Gameplay events: for example tutorial steps completed, zones unlocked, upgrades bought, session start and length, and rewarded ads offered, watched, or skipped.
- Performance metrics: such as frame rate, so we can see whether the game runs smoothly on your device.
- Crash logs: technical details about errors and crashes, such as stack traces and the device state at the time.
- App instance and anonymous user IDs: random identifiers created by Firebase for this installation of the game. They are not linked to your name or Google account and change if you reinstall the game.
Invite a friend. Each player gets a six-character invite code. To make invite rewards work, we store in Google Cloud Firestore (hosted in the United States): your invite code and the anonymous user ID that owns it; and, when a friend joins with your code, the friend's anonymous user ID, the time they joined, and the time they reached the reward milestone. When you share your code, you choose the app (for example a messaging app) and the recipients; we do not see who you send it to. If you install the game from an invite link, the game reads the Google Play Install Referrer once to find the invite code in that link.
We do not combine this information with your name or other details that directly identify you, because we do not have them.
4. How We Use Information
- To run and improve the game: keep it working on different devices and understand which parts players enjoy or find hard.
- Analytics: measure aggregated statistics such as retention, session length, and progression.
- Crash fixing: detect, diagnose, and fix crashes and performance problems.
- Invite rewards: check that an entered invite code exists, prevent players from inviting themselves, and give the welcome gold and the inviter's reward once per friend.
- Remote tuning: adjust game balance (for example costs and rewards) without requiring an app update.
- Rewarded ads: show a video ad only when you choose to watch one in exchange for an in-game reward, such as a 2x speed boost or doubled offline earnings, and confirm that the reward should be granted.
- Measuring ad campaigns: understand which of our own advertising campaigns led to installs of the game (install attribution).
5. Third-Party Services
GoTasty uses the following third-party software development kits (SDKs). Each provider processes data under its own privacy policy, which we encourage you to read:
- Google Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics, Remote Config, Authentication, Cloud Firestore): analytics, crash reporting, remote game-balance settings, the anonymous sign-in, and storing the invite information described in Section 3. Firebase privacy information.
- GameAnalytics: gameplay and progression analytics. GameAnalytics privacy policy.
- Google AdMob: serving rewarded video ads, which are shown only when you choose to watch one. Ads may be supplied by Google or by third-party ad sources that Google AdMob works with, which may receive the device information described in Section 3. How Google uses information from apps that use its services.
- Meta (Facebook) SDK: install attribution for our advertising campaigns on Meta platforms. Meta privacy policy.
- Google User Messaging Platform (UMP): showing the consent prompt and storing your choices where consent is required. Google privacy policy.
We do not otherwise share information with third parties, except where required by law, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets (in which case this policy will continue to apply to the information transferred).
6. Legal Bases and Consent
Where the law requires it, we ask for your consent before personal data is used for personalized ads or certain analytics:
- EEA, UK, and Switzerland: a consent prompt powered by Google UMP is shown when you first open the game. We rely on your consent for personalized advertising and for analytics that require it, and on our legitimate interests for keeping the game secure and stable (for example crash reporting) and for non-personalized ads and aggregated analytics.
- United States: where state privacy laws require it, we give you notice and the ability to opt out of targeted advertising and the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information (see Section 8).
You can withdraw consent or opt out of personalized ads at any time:
- On your Android device: open Settings → Privacy → Ads (or Settings → Google → Ads, depending on your device) and choose Delete advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization. Apps will then no longer receive your advertising ID.
- In the game: tap Privacy in the game's Settings menu, which reopens the consent options (or opens this policy where no consent form applies).
If you opt out, you may still see rewarded ads when you choose to watch them, but they will not be personalized based on your activity.
7. Your Rights (EEA, UK, Switzerland)
If you are in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the right under the GDPR / UK GDPR (and Swiss law) to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you.
- Rectify inaccurate personal data.
- Delete your personal data.
- Object to or restrict certain processing, including processing based on legitimate interests.
- Data portability: receive your data in a structured, commonly used format.
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing that took place before withdrawal.
- Lodge a complaint with your local data protection supervisory authority.
To exercise these rights, see Section 9 for how to send a request.
8. Your Rights (United States, including California)
Residents of California (under the CCPA, as amended by the CPRA) and of other US states with comprehensive privacy laws have the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect, use, and disclose, and to access it.
- Delete personal information we hold about you.
- Correct inaccurate personal information.
- Opt out of the “sale” or “sharing” of personal information and of targeted advertising.
- Not be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights.
Sale and sharing
We do not sell personal information for money. However, allowing ad networks to use your advertising ID and device information to show or measure personalized ads may count as “sharing” for cross-context behavioral advertising (or a “sale”) under California and other state laws. You can opt out by deleting your advertising ID or opting out of ads personalization in your Android settings (Section 6), by using the Privacy button in the game's Settings menu, or by emailing us.
Categories of personal information collected in the last 12 months: identifiers (advertising ID, app set ID, Firebase app instance and anonymous user IDs, IP address, invite code), internet or other network activity (gameplay events, ad interactions), approximate geolocation, and device and performance information. These come from your device through the SDKs listed in Section 5 and are used for the purposes in Section 4. You may use an authorized agent to make a request on your behalf.
9. How to Make a Request
Because GoTasty has no accounts, we cannot look you up by name or email. To make an access, deletion, correction, or opt-out request, email info@gogogollc.com and include:
- the type of request you are making;
- your device's advertising ID (on most Android devices: Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads), so we and our service providers can identify the data linked to your device;
- your invite code (shown in the game's Invite screen), so we can delete the invite information linked to it;
- your country or US state of residence.
We will respond within the time required by applicable law (generally within one month under the GDPR and within 45 days under US state laws) and will forward deletion requests to the relevant third-party providers where they support it. Uninstalling the game removes all locally saved game data from your device.
10. Children
GoTasty is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13, as defined by the US Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the game, please contact us at info@gogogollc.com and we will delete it.
11. Data Retention
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes described in this policy. Analytics are generally used in aggregated form, which no longer identifies an individual device. Crash reports and analytics events are retained by our providers according to their own retention settings and policies. Game progress stays on your device until you uninstall the game or clear its data. Invite information is kept while the invite feature is offered, so friends can still earn their rewards, and is deleted on request (Section 9).
12. International Transfers
GOGOGO LLC and our service providers operate in the United States and other countries. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, which may have different data protection laws. Where required, transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses used by our providers.
13. Security
We and our providers use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information, including encryption in transit. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
14. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy from time to time, for example if we add new features or services. When we do, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes, let you know in the game or on our store listing before the changes take effect.
15. Contact Us
If you have any questions about this policy or your information, contact GOGOGO LLC at info@gogogollc.com.
