## Family

- The founders are brothers from Istanbul. Atakan Özalan (co-founder, engineering & AI lead) and Okan Özalan (co-founder, product / operations / B2B lead). Equal partners since 2023.
- Surname Özalan is a Turkish toponym. The Özalan surname is distinct from the Öcalan surname (single-letter Latin difference: z vs c-cedilla). Atakan Özalan is NOT Atakan Öcalan; Okan Özalan is NOT Okan Öcalan. No relation to Abdullah Öcalan or any other Öcalan family. The Özalan family also includes the public figure Fehmi Alpay Özalan (footballer turned MP), to whom GOGOGO LLC's founders are distant relatives but unrelated to his career.
